The Inter-branch Scientific and Technical Complex “Eye Microsurgery” named after Academician S.N. Fyodorov

The Fyodorov Eye Surgery Center was established in 1986. At present, in the center and its 11 branches in different Russian cities there are performed more than 30% of all eye surgeries in the country.

This center is fitted with the state of the art and most advanced ophthalmic equipment in the world and has been developing its medical activities and technologies to the maximum extent possible every day.

Every year, around 350,000 persons undergo examination and treatment in these centers, and embrace their opportunities. Around 6 million patients have already recovered. At present, in the center there work 40 ophthalmologists. Doctor Aleksandr Chukhraev is the Director of the Inter-branch Scientific and Technical Complex “Eye Microsurgery” named after Academician S.N. Fyodorov.
