Moscow Automobile and Road Construction State Technical University

Moscow Automobile and Road Construction State Technical University is one of the oldest and most important educational centers of Russia in the area of transport, automobiles and road construction, which throughout its history has had significant influence on the road and automobile industry of Russia.

Moscow Automobile and Road Construction State Technical University is one of the most important industrial universities in Russia in the area of automobile, transport and road construction and bridge construction.

The university was founded in 1930 based on the Automobile and Road Construction Faculty of Moscow Institute of Railway Transport Engineering and the Higher Road Transport School. Since 2010, it has been functioning under the new name of Moscow Automobile and Road Construction State Technical University.

The main goal of this university is training and educating of experienced specialists for work in the area of automobile transport, road construction, bridge and airport construction, road-building machinery, automatic control systems in transport systems. The university is a representative of the International Association of Automobile and Road Education and meets all the conditions, fulfilment of which is necessary to train foreign students.

At present, around 8,000 students from various regions of Russia and 67 countries of the world study on 8 faculties of this university. Professor Viktor Nitsevich is the Rector of the university.

The dormitory building of Moscow Automobile and Road Construction State Technical University is located near the main building of the university, as well as Airport Metro Station and is equipped with all the amenities, which are necessary for students: in each block of this dormitory, there are two rooms, 2 persons per room.
