Bauman Moscow State Technical University

The Bauman Moscow State Technical University is the most outstanding international university in Russia.

It is the university, which offers to you the Master’s degree and throughout its history has been an advisor to Russia. This university became an independent educational institution on October 5, 1826 on the order of Empress Maria Feodorovna. Four years later, in 1830, under the supervision of Emperor Nicholas I there was adopted the Statute of Craft School, which goal was teaching of various crafts and training of students.

This educational center can attract applicants and make it possible for them to widen their horizons. Among the professors and lecturers of the IMTS there were such outstanding scientists as D.I. Mendeleev, N.Ye. Jukovsky, etc. Using the crucial aspects and remarkable experience of the country, such specialists as Andrey Tupolev, Sergei Korolev (the chief structural engineer of the rocket-and-space systems in 50-60s of the last century), etc. graduated from this university.

Around 4,500 professors and lecturers are engaged in the training process, among whom there are 450 Doctors of Science and about 3,000 Candidates of Science.

The university has an active student exchange program, teaches foreign students, holds scientific consultations, provides international and scientific services. The success of the university, while implementing 90 specialized scientific projects with large companies, has increased.

At present, the university is headed by Professor Anatoly Alexandrov. 8 scientific and educational complexes, 116 study groups, 10 scientific and academic institutes, 30 specialized centers and other institutions function at the university.
